A flash of pain across the guard's face as your blade hums through his chest plate. The other guards stand from their chairs and begin to move towards you. You notice they are not overly urgent and seem more annoyed than concerned. The guardsman you slashed at steps backward and holds his auto stubber up.

"Oi. Careful with that fucking thing. Just drop your shit and be on your way, I don't wanna do the write up to throw your fat ass in jail."

As your sword sings through the air toward the Guardsman, he nods off and lists slightly to the side. He catches himself as he falls, as if stirring from a long sleep.
"Hmm? What... Oh. Yeah that'll do. Give it here."

He holds his hand to grasp the handle of your power sword.
[Whatchu doin boy?]

3
As you search through your fat flaps and pockets the guard moves closer, itching to see what wonders you will pay him with.
[Lets see that attack roll!]

4
"Okay you freak, landing fees just doubled."

[What do you have on yourself to pay him?]

5
[What is your modifier to reaction rolls?]

6
[First is a skill roll for intimidate. Roll that @ will -4 if you aren't trained]

7
[Intimidate is a skill @will -4 if not trained, quick contest, then the NPC makes a reaction roll modified by who won the intimidate. You will have a +1 because of your size (take account for any other modifiers]

8
The Guardsman speaks in a drone as he approaches you "Oi. Landing Fee."

Min/Max 3.x / How do I Kill it?
« on: May 22, 2014, 10:28:46 AM »
Long story short the world my character is in has existed for 5 campaigns and as such old PCs exist. One such character is a LE ex-god epic level fighter, who has a habit of cutting tables (and people) in half to make his point.

He is starting to cause issues (read as take over the continent) and I would like to build a character to kill him. All books are welcome just no magazines or 3rd party material.

The challenge is that he has a belt of anti magic that has a 10 foot radius and his great sword and armour are legacy items and work within the field. I don't know his build but I believe he has a level of barbarian, he is human (as far as I know) and he has command of a large army of fighter/barb mooks.

Any ideas welcome. Cheers.

The door of the craft whines open you step out into the warm day. A warm and lazy breeze caresses you sluggishly. A thick, sweet scent hangs in the heavy air, wafting from the sumptuous flowers of the weeds that seem to creep everywhere. A stillness lies on the landscape and it feels like an effort to push it aside.

A couple of Beimini Home Guardsmen saunter over to their shuttle from a group listening to tinny music under an awning. The men wear bits and pieces of uniform but have stripped off their tunics and look dishevelled and lack luster. Only one of the men is armed, with a stub automatic at his belt.

On the northern edge of the landing field stand long rows of fighters, Imperial Navy shuttles, guarded by fully uniformed and armed guardsmen. These shuttles are part of an Imperial force and beyond them lies a camp, properly secured and regularly ordered into neat blocks of more prefabricated buildings.

[Whisperings of the slave crew and overhearing conversations. And time is entirely relative in the screaming vortex]

As the ship descends from orbit you notice that the planet is devoid of civilization, one meagre city stands on the edge of a continent. As you stare from the main control deck Gresh gives instructions for the pilot to set down in the city's space port. Upon landing you are away of the poor state of the port, half built buildings surround the port and to the south side the coast can be seen.

[If you would like you can make a current affairs test (default IQ-4) to see if you know anything about what has been going on in the area]

13
[27+30=57. Roll under 57]

14
[You infamy roll was higher than your infamy so no slave]

After 12 days aboard The Wrenched Spore you feel a horrible shuddering as the vessel leaves the warp storm. In the distance you seen a rich blue and white world, Beimini.

As you approach the planet Gresh speaks to you, his words echoed be the visage on the side of his head

"There it is. See how the foliage is white and rich? it is the effect of the fountain. We need to find some fool name Jeremiah, he knows the location of the affront to the Lord of Flies"

15
"I had intended to take you back to the the Raged Helix [Where the carion corpse is, along with the Chains of Judgement] and return to Calvarius with the flesh but I have learned of a more ideal use for it.

There is a small imperial planet just past the ridges of the 13th passage [the edge of the screaming vortex] where there have been rumours of a fountain of youth. If the rumours are true such a thing would be a great afront to Father Nurgle and if it was to be desecrated he would be most pleased indeed!

Would you be willing to accompany me to investigate this?"

[Infamy isn't yet high enough to looks for such rare equipment you probably have to try around 35-40 or find something worth trading. A single slave would be simple to obtain make an infamy test (d100) at your infamy +30]

16
"Calvarius required you to obtain the flesh, there were very few way of entering the Temple of Lies without invitation. He is already aware of your success"

Clambering inside the small vessel you, Gresh and the Prophet ascend into orbit and renter Gresh's main ship The Wreched Spore. The ship is crewed by slaves no more that 100 and several heavily armed guards keep watch about the rusting hallways.

[You gain 2 infamy and 3 Character points for this venture]

Upon boarding The Wreched Spore the Prophet uses the ships communicator to arrange a rendezvous with his brothers and is retrieved from your company days later.

[Anything you wanna do aboard the ship in this time?]

17
As you call the Prophet over he regards Gresh with a sneer, " This is our pilot? Where were you deamon host? Rolling around in waste while your charge was waiting here?"

Gresh turns and leads you to the ship, all the while quietly conversing with his second face. After a short walk you come upon a pile of wrecked metal that opens into small craft. Gresh asks that you give him what you were sent here for and he will take you back to The Chains of Judgement.

18
" are you suggesting we give him a ride then?"

19
"That Prophet is to resilient for anything that I have on hand, unless you have something it may be best to leave him be."

20
Your leg seems fine but has a small barb sticking out of it, causing a small amount of bleeding.

"Well done. Give it here and I will see it delivered. I can see you back to the moon I picked you up on, we'll leave the prophet to fuck around here."
