To make the most of Craft Alchemy. Or can you make good use of it without the feat?

The one from Unearthed Arcana? All it does for you is letting you craft Alcehmical Items with craft points and not needing to be a Spellcaster ya?

If thats the case then no, it doesn't seem at all necessary.  Maybe if your DM is enforcing the Spellcaster requirement for Alchemy, which is kinda silly IMO. I would just dip a spellcaster class at that point though.

I mean pending on what kind of alchemy items you are using it will save you a fistful of gold, but Im not sure if that is really worth it past the fist 5 levels.
Im really bad at what I do.
A+

The Craft Alchemical Item feat is only usable if the DM is using a particular Unearthed Arcana variant. Even if he is using it, it isn't really important: all Craft Points do is let you craft without spending time to do so. Good in a breakneck campaign with no downtime, but if you do get downtime, it is not necessary.
