She is showered with lead, expiring before her claws can reach you.  She begins rotting almost immediately, and the smell is indescribably foul.  The trogs are on the run.  What do wish to do.

First make sure none of the trogs appear to be carrying off any of the townsfolk.

If not, turn to see if we can give aid to any injured townsfolk. Keep an eye out for injured trogs that are still in the town.

They are eventually run off, and things begin to recover, when a terrified constable comes running up to you.  "Te prisoner wants to speak to you ma'am."

"Thank you. The circle remains unbroken?"

Elizabeth heads down to see what the prisoner wants.

"Yes."

When you arrive the prisoner looks concerned.  "The Haxan have found you.  More importantly,, I'm betting they know I' here now.  It might be time we part ways."

OOC: It's been quite a while IRL time since Elizabeth last talked to the prisoner. What does she remember about Haxen?

Sense Motive to see how she feels about the prisoner's intent:

He referred to them as witches without being more specific.  He does seem legitimately worried.

"You are female, and aware.  They will want you as a member of their cult.  I am a rival, they will want me dead or under their control.  Your town does not have the power to resist them if they have sufficient numbers, unless you are willing to take the risk of training them in the art.  You have some hard choices to make.  The wolf is outside your door."

"If you stay they'll come for you, and the town will suffer for it.  They're best off making for Philadelphia.  That was a lone scout sent to see where you went, and the lay of the land.  I sensed her arrival, which meant she likely sensed me.  The two of us are too much of a prize to ignore."

"Thank you. I have to confer with the town. I'll be back soon."

Elizabeth goes to gather her lieutenants and perhaps any other pillars of the community she'd trust in this matter.

"That thing that was in the alley is likely a scout for something far too strong for us to contend with. I think it's best I leave the town and that we release the prisoner since they seem drawn to us. It might be best for everyone to move to Philadelphia, but I cannot and will not force you to do so. I am truly sorry it has come to this, but I think the town needs to make a decision on how to handle this.

I can leave within a day, but I am not sure if I want to release the prisoner while people are still in the town."

There's great uproar, but they agree on Philadelphia.  They aren't sure how much longer they can hold out like this.  They would prefer you accompany them though.

"I can come with, but I'm not sure if I'll draw unwanted attention. In either case, we should move quickly. How soon can people be ready to move?"

To her lieutenants: "I'm going to have to devise a way to free the prisoner with minimal risk to ourselves. I might rig something up to have a live animal cross the circle after some amount of time."

Elizabeth tells the prisoner: "The people are making preparations to leave. I'll return when I figure out how best to free you." She doesn't tell the prisoner they're planning to leave tomorrow.

Elizabeth does what she can to help with preparations, and packs anything important of hers, plus any rare, portable materials/books.

If she has space/time available, she might try to squirrel some of her larger possessions away out of sight in case she can return for them, later. Perhaps there's a hidden spot in her house or where she works.

Was Elizabeth able to hide any of her larger lab stuff?

She'll gather up as much important stuff as she can carry, including food and water. Once everything is packed, she'll have to rig up something to free the prisoner.

Is it known to her that an animal crossing the circle will break it? Knowledge (TTMWNMTK) = 1d20+12

You were able to hide stuff.  An animal could break the seal if it could physically harm it.  And if he can dominate other beings they would be usable once they entered the circle with him.
