Marlowe paces back and forth briskly. "We'll keep an eye out for any more visitors while you revive Raoul, much to what I'm sure is Ris-Janna's dismay."

Ris-Janna doesn't seem to pay much attention to Marlowe's remark, busying herself with looking around and licking her lips. Maybe she's wondering what dreams taste like.

While Marlowe's back is turned, Ris-Janna she sees within one dreamscape a whale and a potted plant falling side-by-side in a blue sky. Somehow, the sight seems familiar to her.

Cade claps all four hands together, rubbing them as though to remove excess dust. He takes in a deep breath, exhales, then says "Clear!" as he pokes Raoul's dead body with one index finger. The fiendish cad jolts to life.

"Hey there, Raoul. There's good news and bad news. The bad news is, you're dead. Well, you're alive right now, sort of, but you're about to be dead again. Now that you're temporarily once again among the living, the good news is that I can bring you back for real... though we can't stick around here long. Just sit tight for a moment. This may sting a bit."

The devil glances over at Ris-Janna, giving her a quick nod in Raoul's direction before speaking to her telepathically.

<<Look, you know you've been wanting to get some payback for a long time. Now's your chance. I mean, it's for his own good, in more ways than one.>>

"I know what you're about to do, so let me spare you the pain of having to do it yourself."

Raoul procures a locking garrote in one of his pockets, wraps it tightly around his neck, and exhales hard. His face goes purple.

A faint "ding"-like sound emanates from his crotch as he slumps to the ground.

Hey, if he's going to die again, he may as well do it on his own terms.

"Ah well, looks like you don't get the satisfaction today, RJ. Hey, I can only work with the tools I'm given."

Cade touches Raoul again, and the body once again surges back with life.

"Welcome back again. Now let's get out of here before I get all teary eyed."

The fiend gathers everyone up, and warps space to slip them out from the Dreamheart and into somewhere slightly less variable.
