A lot of Deepspawn punch comes from improved grab.  How will grapples work?  Two secondary tentacles 1d2 dmg get improved grab and constrict by 6th and size large(1d3!).  Is large +4 bonus to grapple?  Do all natural attacks stop when it gets a grapple check or do both go through and both get to constrict? Does the Deepspawn's swift action INT to natural attacks apply to improved grab?

Can Deepspawn qualify for it's racial feats at level 5 or earlier?  They require 8 skill ranks in knowledge(whatever) in 3.5. PF only gets us to 6

Are Perception and Stealth replacing Spot/Listen and Hide/Move Silently?  If we have to be somewhat sneaky it would be nice to have a couple more skill points.

Technical questions:
Does Monster Lord allow a titanic creature to damage, reach, grapple, trample, swallow, and shrug off as if he were a Colossal+ size while still being medium size?

Does Shrug Off make him immune to all special abilities that allow a save that come from creatures smaller than Colossal+?

Does Shrug Off(2) turn all saves to Con saves or just saves from no-save abilities?

Gestalt:
You made it clear that a monster can't get the same attribute to AC twice.  Can it get two different ability scores to a stat?  If a gestalt monster gets CHA mod to natural armor and CON mod to natural armor does it get both?  If you get the similar "ability score to X" abilities could it give a small bump like when you repeat SR or DR? 

Natural attacks:
If I have a deepspawn/grell crossbreed you have to choose either 3 or 10 tentacle attacks and 3 or 1 bites respectively.  Is that right?

Can I assume you still get the class abilities of both monsters for those type of natural attacks?  Ex. Grell tentacles get improved grab, Deepspawn tentacles flank with bite attacks on same creature.

I can understand trying to avoid too many natural attacks (though you could just gestalt with a claw/slam monster and still get your oodles of attacks), but losing your class features would stink.


Monster Lord:
Could it work for miniature creatures to get mini bonuses without the minuses for being mini?
How does the powerful build aspect of monster lord interact with trample, space, and reach?
Do you calculate reach distance from your medium space or can you still reach as far as if you were your Colossal size?
Can you stomp a city block while still appearing to be medium size?

Are creatures that strike the behir with handheld, unarmed, natural attacks, or grapples subject to the contact poison on the spines?  Are Creatures that the behir strikes or grapples poisoned?

I'd really love to play a Deepspawn mad scientist monster creator. 

Another question for Os, the Deepspawn capstone talks about making unique monster hybrids. 
In a gestalt campaign could I make gestalt monsters? 
Or maybe Green Ronin has a template for creating monster hybrids in it's Advanced Bestiary?

I'm not just trying to munchkinize here and am happy to work with whatever you decide is best for your campaign.

I'm still pretty new at play by post, and I'm not trying too hard to optimize.  I just want to try some neat synergies.   :D  After looking at everyone's character sheets I think my guys are closer than I thought to the power level that everyone's at.  If Os or you guys have some advice on either character build it's welcome.

Will save +10 or lower...  I think the combats could be "won" with all of the monsters except the cleric and hoard of shadows (even the shadows with immunity piercing) by any focused caster or SLA user (even without Gestalt) who has good save DCs.

Smyth has DC 25 70% 1st round win rate vs 1 Monster with Will +10.  That's very roughly 50% chance to stick two in a row.

How low do Save DC's need to be to be acceptable?  I could shuffle ability scores to the maximum acceptable.

For Multiclass Deepspawn/Mind Flayer do you keep both sets of tentacles and use separate monster mechanics for each? Do you just get mindflayer tentacles and combine the mechanics?

For Deep Power Monster of Legend you get Cha to saves and AC.  It says if you have an ability that already gives you Cha to AC(Nymph) or Saves (Paladin) you don't get it again.  Does Succubus Cha to Natural armor count so they don't stack?  If not could you get a +2 like most other 2nd time abilities?  Would they overlap so the armor bonus would count vs touch?

Does the monster of legend essence drain count 1 type of natural attacks (bites), 1 specific natural attack (tentacle #3), every constrict, or only 1 constrict (constrict #1)? 

Which method do you use for calculating BAB and Saves for gestalt?

I don't mean to intrude.  I just saw that you might have room for one more, and I've been posting in moldering threads.  I'm eager to try me some monster classes.  I made a few guys who might be a bit powerful, and I probably need some correction.  First attempt: Mr. Gruble and Lady Selinda . Second attempt: the arguably less powerful Professor Smyth. Quickly scaled down Favored Child based on Selinda.  Thank you for your consideration.

After reviewing the challenge level I see I may have gotten a bit carried away with Mr. Gruble... I think he and Selinda have a good chance of killing most if not all of the monsters in one encounter.
I could do Deepspawn/rouge or Deepspawn/wiz or Deepspawn/Swashbuckler.  Deepspawn/Scholar just seems wierd but could be cook.  I'm not super familiar with ToB stuff. 
Are there any classes that key off of INT?
DeepSpawn/Dusk Giant would be thematic.  Are there any good homebrew natural attack/grapple or rogue classes that you know of?

I just saw that there was room.  I posted the build I was thinking of with questions on your Monster Build thread.  I thought it would be fun if he seemed like the sidekick to his favored child.  Mr. Gruble is a loyal, quiet, unassuming man who is an advisor and body guard to the fabulous singer/cosmetics guru/courtesan/spy/assasin Lady Selinda Fairchild.  I used Garryl's Marshal and your homebrew for the rest.  There's still a bit of work to do, so let me know what you think.
