Mogmurch charges out the open door towards the fighting. His charge is timed to array after the more senior goblins get into the fight, however.

I think one of the issues with it being as low level as it is is that the caster can simply withdraw whenever anyone gets close, and then everyone has to run another set of spot checks to find them again. So while it's a drawback, it's only a drawback temporarily. It's also effectively a mass invisibility effect if everyone can stay tightly packed together before anyone else would have one, which makes it excellent at ambushes and hiding.

The not goblins

If them having a name for him makes them happier, he's fine with that. It's not like he uses his own name any more.

Note it's always an AoE, not a single target spell, so it's notably undercosted since it also dodges the normal response of things that target invisibility.
