Soon. We're still working out the best way to get some of this stuff across. It's easier if everyone involved is your game signed up here first (and we know who they are).

Also, we have a dice roller now.

I'm just glad that the boards are coming back. Also, that the delay in my game updating is not due to me being lazy or too busy, this time. :P

Think of it as a way to clear the clutter out of the PbP section.

You know, without using a weapons-grade flamethrower.

I'm hoping that the migration sparks new interest in games! Because I really want to do some PbP away from the cancer that is GiantITP.

I wouldn't mind being able to continue my game as well. It was called FR: The Darkening.

It was situated here: http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?board=38.0

Is it possible to port all the old posts over?

Then I have to search through the PMs to email everyone to reactivate them, should they get lost in the transition...

OBJECTION! That remark is offensive to cancer.

Be fair. There are good people there, even if they tend to get banned quickly.

Someone that is banned quickly by definition is not there long. Once they are gone, what is left?

As I understand it, they're revising their infraction policies. Also, "tend to" doesn't mean that's always the case.

They halved the duration of infractions (from two years to one) and renamed "candidate for banning" to "on probation". No other changes were made. For some reason this made a bunch of people think that they were reducing the number of infractions given out, vigilante modding was no longer against the rules and that they were unbanning users.

Given how little provocation it takes for them to give infractions, such as giving them because I said that adventurers should be a cut above the average person in the world (because apparently, that's attacking the playstyle preference of people who like adventuring with 10 stat Commoners?) it's a wonder there is anyone there that is not banned.

The problem with that is that I've gotten points for entirely non offensive things, yet seen very offensive things that were reported that were let slide. Then again, they do base your importance there on things like post counts and avatars, so I guess I am not so surprised.

Myth-Weavers is a good place to play too.  Though I agree BGs gaming section seems to be lower traffic.

Re: Giantitp: Is it as bad as I hear?  I got a warning from a very zealous mod going by ZebTheTroll or somesuch.  I was warned because I got upset when other players in a game I was joining started condescending me and I defended myself.

Well all I remember from that is that I signed up for a few PbPs some months back, made complete builds, we got one page in, and all posting stopped with no word from either players nor DMs.
