Hey, it's "everybody thinks they're me day"!

Seriously, I drink Guinness, I drink Jameson, I drink Vodka (and call it Poitin, since it's basically the same thing, and I can't find and decent Poitin). Baileys and Disaronno is pretty good mixture too, but that's 1/2 Italian.

Someone pinched me cause I wasn't wearing green. I looked at her, said "I can get away with it. Irish."
While I'm only 3/8's Irish, I can put on my G-G-Ma's accent at-will. I have bright red hair too.
So when I say, "I'm Irish", with the accent, no-one argues.

Remember, if somebody pinches you, pretend it's the letter swap game and punch them back.

My grandfather was blonde. Came from near Dublin. For some reason, the red hair =Irish thing annoys me. XD

Cannot work out how to describe how Guinness tastes. Weird works.

Irish bloodlines have a higher frequency of MC1R. Thus, while there are as diverse of hair and eye colours in Irish bloodlines as any other in that part of the world, there is a higher than normal frequency of redheads, comparatively speaking. Like many stereotypes, it is based on observation being exaggerated, but will occasionally be true.

Limerick, FWIW, is where one side of my Irish comes from. I don't know about the other. And no comment on being a guy who likes bards descending from a place named "Limerick".

Full. It tastes full. Fuller when you poor in some Jameson into it too.

I'm not so sure it tastes fuller than anything I've legitimately compared it with. Sweeter than bitter, somewhat creamier... but not so sure about fuller. Might just come down to metrics of comparison. XD

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  :p

I am also typing poorly not because of inebriation, but because of the fact that I spilled ale on my laptop keyboard a few days ago, and now none of the vowels work properrly. :-\

What madness is this? What pitiful form have I come to inhabiit? i can scarcely control my haallowed corpse which now I inhabit.

Woooo, a few days late. I got to stand in a wedding where the groom brewed all of the beer for the reception. Our boutonnières were even made of barley and hops.

Preemptive Woooooo!  Just took the LSAT, so depending on how I did this'll be either celebratory or consolation.  I'll find out later, I guess.

Yes, SAO is wonderful. Creepy ending (to the anime), though.

HUbby got me beer because I've been upset the last couple of days....he's also been trying to help out, do stuff and generally spoil me.

Also, thread becomes hilarity due largely to SorO-barging in, being snarky and then topping it off with hahas for all.

I retract my earlier statements, You're just a big sweetie aren't you?  :flutter

Yay Beer!Whoo!

Mr Keith you make some fine brews.

I wouldn't always have to be right if so many people didn't insist on always being wrong.

Try wheatbeer, it tends to be sweeter.  Especially the fruit flavored kinds like Shock Top or some of the seasonal Blue Moons.
Or there's the non-beer "beer" like Mike's Hard Lemonade or Smirnoff Ice.

oooooo try mead!

Trust me, a good mead is manna from heaven-still waiting on our local brewer to get a batch done-last batch tasted like apple juice and honey, chilled to ice cold and just...golden.

Keith's is a Canadian only brew, so even if I do extol it's virtues it's unlikely to be available to most-it's nice and mellow, bit yeasty, but lacking the harsh acidic flavor a lot of ales have.

Also-apricot ale from microbrews... very good.

((and don't be fooled-beer has a *ton* of sugar))

also forgot- macadameia nut liqueur + kahlua +chocolate milk and topped with whipped cream. Tastes like a cross between a candy bar and a milkshake. Very alcoholic, and damned good.

Also like cider.
