for a PF cleric.

i have only touched PF once (it didnt complain).

this time is PF srd, no 3rd party.

party has two gunslingers, a ranger, a halfing who hasnt picked a class yet (maybe ranger so he can have lots of pets) and me.

im thinking a cleric trying to focus on that healing aura. obviously im not gonna go crazy gimping my self for one trick, but is there any way to pimp that aspect?

Use the Merciful Healer archetype + Contingent Channeling feat.

Alternatively, make one of your domains humanoid-related and use Variant Channeling so that your Channel Energy is empowered for your teammates.

Also, don't overlook the subdomains of Healing - Healing (Restoration) is probably better than straight Healing.

ended up as

dwarf

priest of irori

healing and know (thought)

w/ selective channeling feat

birthmark and  sacred touch traits

traded out racial save bonus for MR 6

after our first game, i can more than provide healing for the group as long as they let me.

after planning to be secondary support behind two gunslingers, two ranger, and a rogue, i ended up being front line two handed fighter...

Well, no wonder, because gunslingers aren't exactly powerhouses. You'd be supplying all the buffs and magical control.

had the gunslingers showed up, i think they would have attempted to be front liners. they had stated that they had no real experience w/ pf...

i had expected to be fully occupied as a medic.

Channel is plenty of healing anyway, but clerics are forever.
