How to save a web page as a pdf?
« on: August 15, 2014, 07:22:09 PM »
Does anybody have a good (but free) way to save a web page as a pdf?  Particularly, WOTC web pages.

For example, Fight Club - Alistrianna Malaugrym Duelist

I can use the "printer friendly" link to remove the extra junk.  I can use "File -> Print" and select a pdf printer to save it to a pdf file.  But the pdf printer I have adds its own junk to the file (namely a header and trailer line on each page).

Any suggestions?

Chrome prints to pdf without adding anything. One of the things i've missed since i migrated back to Firefox.

I use the free version of this one for documents and stuff, I've had no issues with it

If it opens in your browser, i'd wage that yes, they can.

I don't know about the others, but Primopdf can.  Basically it acts like an installed printer so you actually print to it and it saves the output as a pdf file (the way it sounds like Chrome can).  As long as you can open/print the file you're good.
