Blades in the Dark anyone?

I have been following the Oxventure Guild (and the two respective channels Outisdexbox and OutsideXtra and watching their DnD adventures. What caught my attention especially was The Bladein the Dark series. I must say I absolutely loved it! Luke made it all look so simple to GM. Have any of you actually tried it? I am musing buying the GM set and giving it a go with a couple of my friends. I have never GMed before so it is quite important for me if the rules are clear and easy to follow. I would appreciate any feedback.
