"I can't speak for the others, but I was hoping to increase my abilities. After hearing about your guns, and how they might allow someone to utilize magic, well I thought how much more efficient and able I might become. I'm a trained swordsman, and a fast draw, but I'm limited by what my blade can actually cut. I need something I can use in one hand, that might allow me something my sword cannot offer."

"I guess I'm curious by what you mean by less fun. If it clears anything up, I'm not above throwing vials of acid at people.

That being said, do you have guns that could either be reloaded very fast, or fired more than once before being reloaded? I tend to throw a handful of daggers at people in rapid succession."

"Most guns require power crystals to charge up. The crystal has enough magical energy to produce a limited amount of ammo, and then you have to dettach it and attach a new crystal. Crystals can be brought to us for recharging, and crystals for one model of gun do not work on other models. By less fun of course we mean not immediately lethal, or perhaps not even lethal at all."

He wasn't entirely clear on the meaning; only in this world did things need to be cut repeatedly before they died, so he inferred it would be useful to hit as hard as possible. "I don't think I will often have the luxury of taking my time to aim at a distant target. I tend to be within swords reach or close to it. I too am interested in something that could be manipulated with a single hand, as I will be using it in conjunction with, as well as to cover the limitations of, my swords."

"I see...you may not be familiar with common terms within the industry. Stopping power refers to a successful hit with the gun being able to stop the targets approach. In other words if they're charging you they either drop dead or are hurt enough to stop forward movement and be kept at range. Guns aren't something you use within melee, their purpose is to kill opponents before they can get close to you. Or capture them in some cases."

"Some simply stun or blind or in some other way inconvenience them. If it helps think of a gun as a wand that can be used by anyone, whether they're a spellcaster or not."

"Do you have any that penetrate armor, or otherwise bypass it? That's one of the reasons I'll resort to acid flasks is getting past armor that would otherwise stop a dagger.

Even if such a weapon had less stopping power, I might be able to compensate with a good aim. I'm pretty good about making a good hit count."

This segues into demonstrations of the product and explanation of common industry terms. Sort of a buyers introduction. You learn guns are quite amazing and varied.

That being said does anyone have the actual money to purchase one at this time>
