It doesn't bear any words, but nearly everyone has heard of it sometime or another. It's one of those fairy tale objects, of course -- the kind that have changed hands many times, been lost and found, been used for mischief and quick escapes, and yet always been taken by another. This item is a mirror.
The mirror appears to be a simple oval hand mirror, with a metal frame. It is utterly indestructible, glass and frame. What bad magic made it is unclear, but its creator had an odd riddle in mind when it was created:
You awaken in a room, with naught but a table, and no exit. How do you gain your freedom?
The mirror allows you, through force of will, to see what you saw: viewing simple objects in the mirror and willing it so, you see yourself saw the object. The object is wrought instantly as if a minute's work with a simple handsaw had been done to it, after which the mirror cannot be used against that object ever again. This item cannot be brought to bear upon any creature, living or otherwise, though every user inevitably finds an indirect approach to circumvent this.
