Promise Keeper let them ask their questions, then spoke up. "We will employ Adawolf. I know very well the difference between operating with only preliminary intelligence versus with field intelligence and would not risk innocent lives to seek greater glory for myself."

Promise Keeper says, then looks back at Gwaedwen and appraises her and her eyes narrow slightly. "If someone in these lands treats you as unscrupulously, tell your Big Sis here and she'll beat them up."

She places her hand on her chest, switching to the rarely-taught to outsiders language of the Flonha. "That is a Promise I will keep."

The other Llethu, seeing their charge entering into another passionate speech, coughs. "Forgive my Lady, she can get a bit.....overzealous at times."

"Hmph. I do not get overzealous. Name one time."

"Last year with that merchant caravan..."

"That...that doesn't count! If they didn't want to get beat up then they shouldn't have been wearing outfits that scream 'I am the bad guy!'"

The other Llethu gave her silent disapproval before looking at the others. "And I am called Stern Protector. I am here to protect the Lady, so I will make no promises of protecting others. But standing behind us is generally safer than not."

A female voice calls out, naturally booming despite her attempts to be quiet, perhaps due to her passion on the subject. "It is natural to be unkind to those who would call themselves 'masters' but who lack the integrity to be worthy of ruling even one person."

A very tall woman with blond hair and dressed for battle steps forward into the building, followed closely behind by a silent male of similar stature. Well, his is only silent in the sense that he is not speaking. His heavy armor and shield make very noticeable sound.

"It seems I have found the gathering. And my apologies for interrupting." she says, giving the pair a respectful nod of her head. "I am Promise Keeper, but you may refer to me as Promise if you wish."

Unharmed feat is what exactly?

And in my opinion what this prestige class really wants is being able to use an immediate action to move with their charge on the charge's turn. In a normal campaign the delay action can be used to always act right after the charge's turn and trivialize always being next to them but that is explicitly not a thing in Arhosa rules and a bad turn order would make it impossible to coordinate any movement.

Class Features
  • Nature Casting: The Ophidian Stalker increases all Nature casting features as if the character had gained a level in the appropriate class at each indicated level.
  • Fusillades: The Ophidian Stalker increases all martial fusillade features as if the character had gained a level in the appropriate class at each indicated level.
  • Molt (Ex): The Ophidian Stalker now changes into a Huge Viper instead of a Large Viper when assuming the form of their Totem Animal, except that it's physical stats are higher when the Ophidian Stalker gains additional levels. At 2nd level the form's Strength and Constitution increase by 2. At 3rd level the form's Strength and Dexterity increase by 2, for total ability scores of 20 Str, 17 Dex and 15 Str.
  • Ah, It's a Snake! (Ex): If the Ophidian Stalker attacks a living creature in the same round as the Stalker assumes their alternate form, the creature must make a saving throw (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Str) or become shaken for 5 rounds. In addition, they receive -2 penalty on grapple checks against the Ophidian Stalker until they are no longer shaken.
  • Sneaky Snek (Ex): While in their alternate form, the Ophidian Stalker is treated as one size smaller for Stealth checks. They also gain the Scent special quality if they don't already have it.
  • Totem Feat (Ex): The Ophidian Stalker gains a single Totem Feat. He must still meet the prerequisites of the feat chosen.
  • Shed Skin (Ex): Changing forms has become natural to the Ophidian Stalker. Refreshing themselves in this way allows them to leave some of their burdens behind when doing so. The Ophidian Stalker may end their alternate form voluntarily as a standard action to remove the fatigued, sickened and poisoned conditions. They also get Fast Healing 3 (which is reduced by 1 per condition removed) for a number of rounds equal to their total number of Totem feats. The Ophidian Stalker is then unable to assume their alternate form for 1 hour.
  • Grab a Bite (Ex): Even when they have bitten off more than they can chew, the Ophidian Stalker is relentless in their assault. At 3rd level they gain the Improved Grab and Constrict abilities of a Giant Constrictor snake while in their alternate form, as their form becomes one step closer to that of a Dire Snake.

The third level ability name of text and table don't match.

Kasumi looks at Hank. "The bodies matter less than the soul, and the villagers lives are already lost... If they do not take these bodies will they not look for others even if they have to make them?"

Kasumi moves closer, holding position next to the pair, ready to punch either of the fey if they try to retreat through the wall.

"...what he said."

"Maybe. If it has been gone that long, we would likely be facing reinforcements if we were to pursue."

"Solid and likely shaped by magic." she concluded.

Kasumi moves up to the wall and presses her head next to it. If she hears nothing, she knocks on the wall to determine if there is space behind it and moves to repeat the process at another part of the wall.

Kasumi lets them deal with the lesser kami. While she is somewhat concerned with the dead bodies being carried off, there were no villagers around willing to dispute the claim or demand compensation.

Then again, most of the raiding party had paid the price with their lives, so it was not as if no price had been paid. And none of the others were giving any indication that this was grossly against the local customs...
