Vivisectionist Alchemist is useful for Arcane Trickster if you want to dip something besides Rogue.  (Also take the feat Accomplished Sneak Attacker.)

True, but that's good as an early entry into AT, not as an Alchemist. It's also possible to dip Snakebite Striker Brawler if for some reason you prefer 1 point of BAB progression over Mutagen + 1st level alchemist extracts + Brew Potion + Throw Anything.

Contemplating a particular stunt involving using Gray Paladin to get Diverse Obedience with Deific Obedience (Shelyn) for her 2nd Sentinel Boon, making for an extremely powerful smite evil (which is also more flexible in its application courtesy of Gray Paladin), but that only pays off at level 14, and the Paladin loses a lot of immunities and Divine Grace.

Added Oath of the Skyseeker Paladin, Constable Cavalier with Indomitable Jewel and/or Padma Blossom, and Scarred Witch Doctor, since 22 int is damn good, both for bonus spells and DCs, and because your familiar is your spellbook Witches are typically very leery of risking them in combat, which drastically lowers their usefulness.

Added Eldritch Guardian and Gloomblade Fighter. Eldritch Guardian is actually a tad ridiculous, since you can just go fullblown archer build and get a second one in your familiar. There are loads of builds that become stronger when you have a companion to help beat the shit out of enemies. Probably the best familiar archetypes would be Mauler or Figment. For melee builds it'd have to be Mauler with an Earth Wysp using Improved Familiar.
