Sure -- swap some levels around and you can be Hadoukening at level 4.  It just gets better from there, is all.

Unless I'm missing something, I have to get a bunch of bad feats, wait till level 5 all to do 3-5 ranged unarmed attacks a day. Seems meh.

If you want broken stuff, don't be a "real melee user".  But there's some fun stuff you can use...

Here's a build using Half-Minotaur, Dungeoncrasher, and the Ring the Golden Bell feat: Hadouken!

Does this build do anything at a decently low level? It looks like what's so powerful about it doesn't show up for quite a few levels.

Sigh, now some want to be wizards. Oh boy.

Now I'm thinking maybe I should fill the role of a real melee user.. one that actually grapples/trips etc, all the real stuff..

The Martial Monk from DM is neat, allowing me to easily pickup Shock trooper.. but being a monk is meh. Could even go Half mino from DM for the extra size and strength.. Optimizie this? or suggest a better way to pursue it.. I can also snag extra feats with flaws.

Also, it looks as if I can have flaws...

Oh just play a standard Human Abrupt Jaunt Focused Specialist Conjurer.

Care to elaborate? I've been away from the game awhile, things don't just click for me as they used to.

Or is it simple enough that I could just google each component and piece it together?

I can be evil.

Small update.. Looks like I'm being shoehorned into the caster role.. They don't really have one otherwise. Rather predictable, given the playgroup.

Whats this about Dark Speach now?

Want a melee alternative?
(click to show/hide)

That is the funniest shit I've seen in a week. Holy crap I love it. What's his name? Background? What would you have to do to be this... thing? What's he look like? I MUST KNOW!

I have a suggestion: ZERO MAN!

It's unfortunatly illegal, but it's in the spirit of the sort of insane shenanigans I wish to do.

This and the "Loredrake Dragonwrought Venerable Magic-Blooded Jungle Kobold Sorcerer standard cheese? " Are the cool idea's I'm looking for. I apologize if I was offensive Alexsi, that long string of templates just had me assuming it couldn't be, but I see I was mistaken. Very neat.

Loredrake Dragonwrought Venerable Magic-Blooded Jungle Kobold Sorcerer standard cheese?

I assume thats sarcasm, but that is exactly the sort of advice I'm looking for. I used to know D&D inside and out, all the classes and cheese, exploits, loopholes, I've simply been away for 3-4 years now and I've forgotten things.

Anything. I am flexible. I don't care what I play, I enjoy power. I've played all sorts of various roles, and I am not more happy in one than another. I enjoy playing the game, not a specific class.

as I said, I know CoDzilla, and I know at level 6 it gets nasty.

No, I can't be PunPun.

I'm looking to optimize from the start, from level one. I do not want to wait half a year to be level X to start optimizing.

yes, I'm aware that a lvl 6 druid kicks ass. The same can be said of a level 6 cleric or wizard. But your rather average at level 1. I'm asking you guys to think outside the box here, abuse any resource. This is the Min/Max forum isn't it? Try and break things.

Standard 25 point buy, lvl 1.

I'm flexible, I'll play anything. Considering how often were going to be playing, and the group, I expect it to go slowly, and we won't get past say, level 6. Optimize accordingly.

Got roped into playing a campaign. Everything is available as a resource, including Dragon Magazine, which i've never been allowed to touch before. I know there is plenty of insane things in it, though I've forgotten.

Given that, and that I'd like to be "powerful" from the getgo, as opposed to far later in the game, what are some insane stuff, even from DM that would be awesome for a lvl 1?
