What is the earliest/rarest D&D product you personally own? Mine is a SIGNED (Gary Gygax and Zeb Cook) AD&D 2nd ed. 1st printing set of core books, and an original box set of Netheril, Dark Suns, Al-Qadim, and Hollow World. Trying to replace my Menzobarrazan, but having no luck. My faves are the 'mini' reprints of the 2nd ed. books (21st Century Games, for 25th TSR/D&D Anniversary), as have 8 books of the set, the Race books (2nd. ed. Humanoids, Elves, Dwarves, and Gnomes & Halflings), Encyclopaedia Magica (all 4 volumes). and The Armory 30-sided Dice Tables and Character Creator. After 31 years, you tend to collect quite a libram...

Here's how I play the Fist (very similar to original paperwork, modified for 4.0 compatibility:

1) Range: Treat as Large projectile (as per Giant sling bullet), magical, range 50 feet (10 squares).

2) Yes, disintegrates and reforms after each USE, hit or miss (DC 20 to avoid, pre-modified. It WILL find your vulnerable spot...)

3) Standard spell resistance applies. DC same as equivalent spell. For spells that deal damage, DC for half, per spell,AFTER all mods applied.

Intelligent artifact, align: CG, HP:15, Hardness 10.

BTW, own one (original, w/box & paperwork), bidding on 2nd on eBay.. Custom designed 'mini' version (only have 1 left, other 9 went to friends Gary [Gygax], Zeb [Cook] and others. Yes, THAT Gary Gygax. We've been friends since 2001. Carolina Con 1.)

Hi. Veronica Haylee Nevaeh McSwain here. 43, 1 child, 2x divorcee, NOT looking. D&D player since 1981, DM since 87, RPGA# 835085. Licensed DM. I agree to terms. Fave D&D character: Gryxzl Greybeard, leader of the Pink Orcs of Zed. 21 STR, 18 INT, due to Helm of Brilliance, 3 WIS, 18 DEX (Cloak of Dark Shadows), 18 CON, 10 CHR (Helm of Brilliance), Level 21 (Retired avdenturer, now used as NPC in Waterdeep), 217 HP. AC -25 (35 for D&D 3.0+) THAC0:1, modified (only fails on crit fail confirmed, Natural 1 MUST confirm miss). In other words, don't F--- with him... Fave phrase: 'Purdy Kitty', referring to his pet Saber Werecat, 'Bubba'. Been offered ops to increase WIS, but turned down repeatedly. Every character should have fatal flaw to counter strengths. Gryxzl's kryptonite is his lack of common sense and book learning.
