True, but Orb of Acid sickens on a failed save while Orb of Fire dazes. I like that extra potential threat of making them lose a turn instead of just imposing penalties.
I also don't think I'm desperate enough to blast to go for Firey Burst either.
Any suggestions for gear would also be very helpful.
Remind him that free actions can only be done on your turn*
*At least, that's how it is in 3.5.
Very helpful, that was just the idea I was looking for! I think I'll write 'barrd' on my hat and declare my character finished.
Campaign will start in a few days... any other suggestions would be be most welcome!
I could keep typing, but instead go to dndtools.eu where I've selected feats and added a filter of "precis" (for precision and precise). Click through the various feats that sound good. Replace "precis" with "sneak", "flank", "opportunity", "lose dex", and any other words that might apply. You'll have more feats to choose from than you know what to do with. Let us know what the best ones are. That does seem to help a little, though of course that doesn't nullify the use of this thread. That website most definitely doesn't have every last 3.5 feat in existence, and it doesn't have ANY pathfinder feats.
Is there any particular REASON we're sticking our head inside the friendly psion?Or a friendly psion. You're staggered forever because you took 12 trillion damage, and can't be bothered to heal yourself that much.Pretty much. Once the Spell is saving you form being dead at -11HP you lose the ability to be healed which locks you into a dead/staggered state.
Unless you put your head in a bucket of water.
