Min/Max Boards

I am trying to figure out the best way to introduce an alcoholic halfling barbarian in a bar that is not a barbrawl.

...Also it is late so I will probably do that tomorrow hopefully.

Just going to see where my character ends up as she progresses, really.  I'm not one for hyperoptimisation.  Although I do kind of want her to go Bear Totem because bears.

So a silly idea of mine seems to have gotten stuck in my head and I am working on a halfing barbarian.  This might be... Interesting. ^^;

I might be interested, if I can figure out something to use I guess.

Argued nothing.  There are quite a few anime/manga distributors who have outright admitted that they look to see what's popular in the fansubs/scanlations as indication of what they should bring over to the west.  I think the best example would probably be Gurren Lagann, since that was so hot in demand that they did a quick sub-only release to tide fans over whilst they worked on the dub. XD

...And I being the schmuck that I am own both that original release and the dub release.  Although to be fair the sub-only release was region-1 and I am region-2 so it was nice to have a copy I could play on something other than my PC. ^^;

And yeah, most of the big fan translation groups take the "if it's officially licensed, we're not translating it; please support the official release" standpoint, which is really the best way to do things honestly.

(Most tokusatsu ends up like that, but that's outside the scope of this)

From what I know, Toei at least are apparently fine with people outside Japan pirating stuff like Kamen Rider and Super Sentai even if they can't outright say they endorse it. XD It helps that most of the money they make from those franchises comes from merchandise anyways (I say, as I lovingly gaze at the Kamen Rider Gaim Figurarts standing triumphantly on my desk).

I've watched Evangelion, and I really enjoyed it. I thought aside from the bio-robot thing it was actually more like a Real Robot series (remember those cables?)...

The cables were only really there so that they could have the time limit as a shout-out to Ultraman, actually.  Also if you don't watch Gunbuster I will incessently nag about it over and over again until you do.  ...This applies to anyone really since it's my favourite mecha anime ever. ^^;

Also, GaoGaiGar is pretty much required watching when you want hotblooded mecha action.  It was made as a reaction to Evangelion, after all, and gleefully ignores any deconstruction that took place there to focus solely on awesome. XD I actually love Eva (the original series, at least; I really couldn't care for Rebuild aside from the first one), but yeah.  ...Also Raineh mentioned G Gundam which is the best Gundam series.

Speaking of G Gundam, there are two other super robot series made by the same guy who did that!  Giant Robo is basically amazing and words can't really do it justice, and Shin Mazinger is my favourite version of Mazinger so um yeah.  And I am rambling um sorry. ^^;
