Faiths of Eberron, page 91: Ritual of Oalian's Voice.
Special: If you are an initiate of the Wardens of the Wood, you can make wild empathy checks with magical beasts as if they were animals.

Introducing a monster that makes a better Monk than the Monk:

The Brood Monkey!

+4 Dex, Con, and Wis, +2 Cha, -2 Str, and -6 Int... oh, and they get Flurry of Blows with any simple melee weapon based off their HD. Oh, and a little something called immunity to the entire school of Enchantment and anything that duplicates the effects of an Enchantment spell.
And LA +2. A Tashalatora PsyWar or Ardent is better...

Hellfire Warlock Adaptation can be entered and advanced as an Arcane Spellcaster, it grants +1d6 damage with Evocation Spells.
It also gains Hellfire Shield, which does damage... Based on the Eldritch Blast damage. RAW that looks like that's zero?

We have a 2nd Party thread for Dragon Mag, but nice inclusion of the page number.
Thank you, but no. This one always included Dragon material from the start, not going to post in that one.

Dragon 359, page 112 Sage: an assassin death attack can be any attack, from one of the swings in a full attack to an AoO.

Exemplar and Temple Raider of Oli* don't give qualifier text for their Skill Masterys.

they don't reference rogue, list the skills that it works with or mention UMD.

idk about any errata that might exist for them. the errata i checked didn't mention it.
They have the same wording as rogue that only lets you take 10 on those skills you already could take 10, but now also while under stress.

So could someone summarize who can and can't use Skill Mastery on UMD?
Anything that references rogue skill mastery (like this monk) or uses the same wording (like exemplar) cannot ; anything that explicitly says "can take 10 on UMD" (like artificers and warlocks) can.
>This ability circumvents the normal rule that a character may not take 10 on a Use Magic Device check.

The Level 2 swap is crap, but Meditative Focus (Use Magic Device) seems like it could be solid.
Won't work. Skill mastery doesn't work with UMD.
Anyway, he can change his skill mastery every day, so this might still be useful.

Prestige class requirement: ability to grant allies a bonus on attack rolls, saves, or checks as an extraordinary ability.
Does Aid Another count?

Heh, Aragorn + Arwen + parenting troubles = Artie Lang.
This one needs some Ruathar levels for completeness sake.

not completely dominate the mundanes.
Well, if you're intentionally gimping yourself, you can always slap this on a mystic ranger, take willing deformity (obese) and roleplay a hilarious character.

Updated Eunuch Warlock has been discussed before, the best build I've seen was a Gnome Illusionist 3/Master Specialist 4/Shadowcraft Mage 5/Eunuch Warlock 8 for Heightened, Silent, Double Extended, Maximised Shadow Miracles.

Dragon 330, page 87.
Weresheep flaw for commoners is quite hilarious and I'm tempted to try and make a tank build out of it. Assume hybrid form and make all monsters attack you, not the party.

In a game with psionic/magic transparency, wouldn't the feat Power Grace (bottom of the article) give you a +1 to save against all spells and SLAs also?
Yes, but why would you want to spend a feat on this?

Instead of "You having a Supermount",
now it's:  "You ARE the Supermount".
Just cast the Familiar's Form spell.

There's at least one way to make pretty much any armor Light:  The halfweight enhancement in Forgotten Realms: Underdark page 70.
Thank you, very interesting. Expensive, though.

That or there are some deities out there that allow druids to wear metal armour. Mielikki springs to mind.
Mielikki only allows light armour. Still interesting, thank you.

Are HD considered a class feature?  Cast Bestow Curse and turn your foe into 0 HD.

Or is BAB a class feature?  Talk about ruining the BSF's day when they are suddenly +0 BAB.
No. But you can remove Weapon and Armor Proficiency or Bonus Feats, if you really hate this fighter.

Risen Martyr without Final Ascension.
Warhulk without No Time To Think.
I wonder if the reverse is possible: forcing class features on your foes. Something like Illithid savant, fusion with the victim, acquire class feature, separate. This one probably wouldn't work, though.

That would make for one cruel BBEG and a whole new type of threat for players.

Fist of the Forest minus Primal Living.
Or a druid without the druid-specific Weapon and Armor Proficiency, which includes their special interaction with metal armor: pick up armor proficiency elsewhere and play a heavy metal bear. I'm sure we can find more!
