SRD Torc = yes , MIC Torc = no. +1 ppoint per round.
To get the Torc at level 5, you have to visit a pSi-AM'S club.
You only need the one Torc. Handing someone something
is not consuming a big action slot. 270 points takes 27 minutes.
Somebody has to stand guard.

Certain powers change the game, if recharge is available.
Semi-infinite Healing can be trouble, right?

We're using the SRD torc. Handing and then equipping is unfortunatly. Swift+Standard if I'm not mistaken. The standing guard part is no trouble. And since the DM cleared recharge, I'm not too worried.

Found a way to do it, (thanks to awaken_d_m_golem for the suggestion  :) )
I am going to be a thrallherd which gives me believers.

2x lvl 5 psion both have earth power and Torc of Power Preservation (1 borrows one of mine)
They give me pp till they are themselves at 1pp. Then they recharge each other, then they recharge me again. Only problem is that this costs me an extra Torc.
A full recharge of my 270 points would take 270 rounds if my reasoning is correct. Anyone care to verify that?

Can't they just take turns holding the Torc?

Maybe though that does increase the time. I'll check with my DM.

Does Body Fuel + Psychic Bastion work for you? 

No dreamscarred press unfortunatly.

He's nerfing Bestow Power in that you can't target yourself?

...that's just stupid.

All the recharge tricks I know (meta/linked, for example) involve Bestow Power.  Maybe you can convince him that Dweomer of Transference is free spell immunity?
I agree with you on the stupid part especially since he first said that he would allow recharge methods. (Disallowing those I would understand.)

Hey,

What are way for a psion 15 to reload his power points? I spoke with my DM today who said he's fine with recharging pp tricks. (Honestly, a surprise) After which he shot down the earth power + torc (we can pick which item we use, the old one or the MIC one) + bestow power because the text says
"You link your mind with another psionic creature’s mind," Despite what the target line says. Channeling through psicrystal won't work either.
I'm not in agreement with this at all, but anyway: what other methods for recharging are there for psions without affinity field?

Last I checked you can run as much as you want, but need to start making Constitution checks eventually... don't know exactly were the details are though.

PS2: My DM is ruling that the effect dissapears if it's a temporary spell. (which does open the gate to major creation and the likes to summon monster :) )

Huh? Summon a monster using Major Creation? Wut?

Found the run thing: "A creature with no Constitution cannot tire and thus can run indefinitely without tiring (unless the creature’s description says it cannot run)." (SRD: constitution)

What I meant was: that the ruling my DM made means that: I can cast summon monster vii get the djinni to cast major creation (vegetable matter) and that the material will stay after it dissapears. So: No need for planar binding and magic circle.

If you can cast summon monster 7 you can have a djinn cast wind walk on 6 targets with a duration of 20 hours and then be able to fly at 60 MPH all day if you want. Its like a slow motion deatheater smoke flight from the harry potter movies.

So I would need wind walk for about 53 rounds. CL is at 24 atm, so I need either extend or 2 slots. A lvl 7 slot is pricy though, but it's definatly a better option than phantom since SM7 isn't that bad of a spell.

PS: You can only do 1 run action per minute right?

The feats seem nice although I don't see how Knight Phantom and Leap Attack combine... But since you're the DM I guess that doesn't matter. Apart from that most optimization of gishes comes down to spell selection.

Thanks for the fast responses :)

Shadow Walk count?  It's sorta teleport, but since it's not instant, not really.  50 mph is a pretty good clip.
Shadow Walk is neither a conjuration (teleportation) spell nor astral/ethereal travel (as it uses the plane of shadow), so it should work. Phantom Steed is faster, of course.

Wind Walk can move you at 600 feet per round, faster than a normally moving Phantom Steed but slower than a running one.

Thanks on the clarification on shadow walk, wasn't sure myself. Wind Walk unfortunatly is cleric/druid so that's out.

Other related question: How easy is it to find a secret base that's inside a Weirdstone? (except manual searching)

Hey guys,
What are the fastest ways to travel without using teleport? (Using the resources of a lvl 17 incantrix wizard.)
Reason I'm asking is that I acquired a Weirdstone (PGtF) (Blocks all teleportation/scrying/ethereal/astral travel in a 6 mile radius.) which I want to use to protect my primary base from other prying mages.
All sources except third party, dragon magazine and UA.
