Could you please elaborate on how limited divine casters ties in to no tier 1/2 classes? It's a simple exercise to simply say that they're banned.
Why would you specifically need divine casters?
I would like the campaign to be heavy on politics and intrigue. Tier 1 and 2 classes quickly make this difficult by level 7. So idea is to ban tier 1 and 2 classes, but looking for a class that represents the priests of the campaign world. Bard Sages will take the role of wizards/sorcerers, but could not think of a Divine caster class to represent the priestly castes. I thought about the Divine Bard, but was wondering if there were other options. I will look into Races of Ansalon, thanks for that idea.

Aside from the Adept are there any other Divine caster classes limited to 6th level spells? I want a game where Tier 1 and Tier 2 classes are not allowed.

New to the boards and returning to D&D after a 3 year hiatus.
Games: D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder
Not tried D&D4 yet.
Currently building a 12-13 level character and re-joining my old gaming table. So need some help wth character build, and hope to access the Handbook threads.
