Turning humanoids
« on: October 24, 2013, 06:30:24 PM »
Hello all, some time ago I saw the class feature that the title indicates, but don't remember where I saw it. I thought it might be D20 modern or some spin-off of such, but I'm not really sure.

Any ideas where it might be? Thanks!

As the HD turn/rebuke record holder I've looked into these things. I'm confident its not possible in 3.5 legal sources without making those humanoids have different/unassumable types or subtypes.

Also please use the Ask A Question forum.

While not specific to humanoids, the Crusader cleric variant in Dragon Mag 311 on page 51 has an ability called "Turn Foe's Followers" where they can turn or destroy worshipers of a deific foe.  The Deific Foe ability is gained at 1st, 5th, and every 5 levels after just like a ranger's Favored Enemy, and basically the cleric just chooses any deity opposed to her own.
