Elodie Hiras, tabletop RPG and video game nerd!

Hey all!

My handle is Elodie Hiras, but don't let the name fool you, I'm male IRL.

I love tabletop RPGs, my favorite one being D20 Modern Urban Arcana (basically D&D in the modern world), then I love High School Girls RPG, a French amateur tabletop RPG where you play girls in high school (specifically with the Magical Girls expansion. Good for playing a Sailor Moon or Persona 3/4 inspired game), I also like GURPS, D&D 3.5/Pathfinder, and those are mostly the only games I've dealt with in depth. I've also had a lot of fun playing an angel of Novalis in Magna Veritas (solving every problem by throwing pot at it can be fun, trust me. :P Novalis is the archetypal stoner...), but I'm not that familiar with INS/MV, only played it twice.

I'm also a video game aficionado, with a particular soft spot for the Fire Emblem series, Fallout: New Vegas (I'm NCR all the way!) and XCOM Enemy Unknown/Within.

I'm here to share fun tips and tricks with tabletop RPG rules. I like seeing the fun bugs purely for the lulz (Grappling Ball of Speed, adding sneak attack dice to heals with a wand, that kind of things. :P ), but I have a love for the fun tricks that make sense in universe, the kind of stuff that is a logical interaction of rules that any sufficiently devious character could think of in game (I once played a Pathfinder game where a demon attacked us in our dreams to drive us insane, and retreated to another plane before we could catch it... Since we had access to an item with divination powers, my wizard just asked it the demon's true name, summoned it, and the demon failed to escape the summoning circle. I believe the best term to describe it is "sitting duck". Summon and kill indeed!). Anyway, hello all!
