getting full-attack with splash weapons
« on: February 05, 2015, 11:41:08 AM »
So what are the ways to get a full attack off with splash weapons?
I know you can use quick draw to grab them but I was wondering if there was some kind of easy access storage space or something that would not be too dangerous to the character.

I think my problem is, if I can full attack with splash weapons, where is my character getting them from on his person?

There is a masterwork potion belt in the FRCS that lets you draw one as a free action each round. If you had one in each hand, that would be up to 3 per round. If you can apply the rule from TWF that drawing two weapons takes as much effort as one if you have the feat, then that would be 4 per round.

Above that, I'm not sure without resorting to extra action shenanigens (or taking Quick Draw...).

Im fine with taking quick draw, o wasostly concerned about where a character could keep them on their person in order to draw them for a full attack.

Thanks for the potion belt, I didn't know they could be used for alchemists fire and such.

Well... it makes sense to me, but I've heard it argued otherwise, also. I've used it like that in several games, as DM and PC, and never really had anyone object.

I recall there's a bandolier or something that allows for this?  I'll look it up after dinner.

Use a Gnome Calculus from Arms and Equipment Guide pg 6.  It fires alchemical items as ammunition, which means you can draw them as a free action.
I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.
