3.5 Paladin Alternate Class feature Divine Grace giving AC

Hi there
I'm quoting the Monk Handbook from the Handbooks Section

"Paladin: Yeah, you heard me right.  Want insane saves?  Or wisx2 to AC?  Two levels here get you wis to either saves or AC.  Wait, but I thought it was cha to saves?  Dragon Compendium has a feat called Serenity.  It keys your paladin abilities off of wisdom.  There is an alternate class feature that subs the save boost for an AC boost.  Coupled with full BAB and an alright spell list it’s not the worst dip for monks."

Where is this alternate class feature i cant find it.
And my DungeonMaster wants more as a proof than this Handbook

There is an alternate class feature that subs the save boost for an AC boost.

Not sure this is the right one, but there's the "Brilliant Strategy" ACF in "Champions of Valor", p48

    Brilliant Strategy (Ex): At 2nd level and higher, a Red Falcon
can draw upon her instinct for battle to give her an amazing
ability to predict the imminent actions of her enemies and her
best options for taking advantage of those actions. Activating
this ability is an immediate action; it grants her an insight bonus
to AC equal to her Charisma bonus (if any) for 1 round. A Red
Falcon can use this ability a number of times per day equal to
one-half her class level.
    This benefit replaces the standard paladin’s divine grace class
feature.

Personally, I'd rather have the always-on Divine Grace rather than a limited number of AC boosts that only last 1 round and uses up my swift action to boot.

Hmm, that is odd.  My lists at http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=8732.0 and http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=9028.0 aren't turning up anything for AC other than what Kitep already mentioned.  Yet that ACF seems familiar...
