Psychic Fist (pathfinder prc) links leads guides?

Im new to PF and my pc is a monk. At 4th level I was told to select Psi Warrior (PF) because of my intense training and a "power awakening" I was to be multi classed at no penalty 3monk/1psi war. At 5th level I can resume monk progression and be 4/1, 5/1 and so on. OR I can choose to increase PW, and the class Psi Fist was brought up by DM, new to me I looked into it.

I am in a pickle of sorts. I want certain monk class features (immunity to poison dimension door etc) but the Psi Fist looks pretty cool, combining my 2 classes....suggestions? or is psi warrior>psi fist? Anybody have experience with this prestige class, or the combo of psi warrior and monk in pathfinder?

Dreamscarred put some medium class feature boosts in there.
Each one could have a specific thingy attached, if you're so inclined.
The 2 Psi Focus abilities, want the Legacy Champion prc in Weapons of Legacy book.
Mesmerizing Glow wants Ability Focus feat, etc ...

'Festing it depends on what's the overall party strength.
Psy Fist < Psy War < Ardent < raw Ardent ... but only be a matter of degrees.

Tier 5 = do what evs
Tier 4 = check out the basic Psi guides for how many good powers you want
low Tier 3 = tier 5 but with a recharge set-up
(1 of the dreamscarred guys posted a build back at wotc, but don't use all it's goodies)
Tier 3 = start to build something with some legit C.O, street cred.
low Tier 2 = tier 4 but with a recharge set-up
Tier 2 = medium C.O. raw Ardent, PsyRef abuse
Tier ~1 = medium C.O. , Ardent, PsyRef abuse, recharge
etc

Yeah I got the Monk 3 / PsyWar 1 part.
To qualify for Psychic Fist PrC, you need a BAB of +4.
Right now you have a BAB of +2.
So you need to go Monk 3+ or PsyWar 1+ or SomethingElse 1+.

The prc advances the PsyWar progression 8/10.
PsyWar 1 + the 8 = 9, so you look up PsyWar 9 to find out how many powers and powerpoints you'd get.
OR you go with the alternate progression within the prc.
The one is > the other, which while usually is a good idea
... still it sorta depends on your party composition.

The PF srd specifically references the 3.5e D&D srd (like the BAB example above).
There are huge commonalities between 3.0e 3.5e and PF.
It gets referred to as 3.X or 3.PF.

We do have a Pathfinder section on the Handbooks board.
PF Monk is in there, as are guides to what has and hasn't changed from 3.5 into PF.

PsyWar is enough the same, that you can build a 3.0e PsyWar or a 3.5e PsyWar
and it'll be enough the same, that you can use the same build in PF.

I have opted to go Psychic Fist and progress the class offered powers instead of the Psy warrior power progression. Still gaining powers from the Psy War list, more ppts, more powers, and higher level. If I was a Psion then sure I'd pick the Psion progression, but as a PSy Warrior entry, hands down, the class progression > psy power progression.

I am currently 6th monk / 2 psi warrior / 1 psi fist...best AC in the party, at 33 when buffed.
16 wis + 2 magic = 18, +2 ring of pro, +2 amulet of nat armor, 15 +3 magic = 18 dex, monk robe + 2 ac, + inertial armor and force screen. Unfortunately I have only a +1 wep and 1 plus 2, and a belt of battle, thats it.

with psionic fist I do, ok damage. The imp trip and vicious stomp have proven well. Power attack with my 1st being a touch is OK in pathfinder, not earth shattering but OK.

If a monk were to go Kata master, when his panache and ki pool combine into one can they regain additional panache/ki pts by the standard way a swashbuckler does, showing off, rolling a crit etc?
