UrsaAlso known as bear people, Ursas live deep inside forests organized in small tribes. They usually keep to themselves, but are fiercely territorrial, in particular when they sense danger to their cubs. If their forest is threatened by an exterior danger, Ursa will rally their best warriors to go hunt it down. Although Ursa craft and don basic armor to reinforce their tough hides, Ursa prefer to fight with their natural claws, which they sharpen and toughen over their lives to become even more dangerous than the claws of normal bears.

Skills: 4+Int mod, quadruple at first level, Class Skills are Balance, Climb, Craft(any), Diplomacy, Escape Artist, Hide, Intimidate Jump, Listen, Knowledge(any), Move Silently, Sense Motive, Survival, Spot, Swim
Proficiencies: Light armor, simple weapons, his own natural weapons.
Ursa Body: The Ursa loses all of his previous racial traits and instead gains monstrous humanoid traits (basically darkvision 60 feet). He is a medium sized monstrous humanoid with base speed of 30 feet and two natural Claw attacks dealing 1d10 damage each. In addition he gains a natural armor bonus equal to his Con mod.
Ursa Talent: At 1st, 2nd and 3rd level the Ursa picks one of the following options. No one may be picked more than once.
Earthshock- As a standard action the Ursa slams the earth, causing a powerful shock. Enemies in a radius of 30 feet take 1d6 damage per HD and are Entangled for 1 round. Even creatures not touching the ground are affected, but a Reflex save with DC 10+1/2 HD+Str mod negates the damage and Entanglement. The Ursa needs to wait 1d3 rounds before being able to use Earthsock again.
At 4 HD Earthsock may be used as a Move action if all Ursa levels were taken.
At 8 HD Earthsock may be used as a Swift action if all Ursa levels were taken.
At 12 HD Earthsock may be used as an Immediate action if all Ursa levels were taken
At 16 HD Earthsock may be used as an free action if all Ursa levels were taken
Overpower- As a swift action, for 1 round when the Ursa charges, fullattacks or makes an Aoo with his claws, he makes one additional claw attack at her highest attack bonus. If all Ursa levels were taken, at 6 HD and every 6 HD thereafter the Ursa makes one extra Claw attack while using Overpower. Once used, the Ursa must wait 1d3 rounds before being able to use Overpower again.
Fury Swipes-When the Ursa hits an enemy with his claws, the enemy gains a Ripped marker that lasts 2 rounds. When the Ursa hits an enemy with his claws, he deals an extra 1d6 damage per Ripped marker they had. If all Ursa levels were taken, this extra damage increases one die size for each 5 HD of the Ursa.
Ability Score Increase: the Ursa gains +1 to Str at levels 1, 3 and 4, and +1 Con at levels 2 and 4, for a total of +3 Str, +2 Con at 4th level.
Scent: At 2nd level the Ursa gains the Scent extraordinary ability.
Bite: Ursas prefer to fight with their claws, but their fangs can also hurt a lot. At 3rd level the Ursa gains a Bite secondary natural attack dealing 1d12+1/2 Str mod damage.
Enrage: At 4th level as a free action 1/hour the Ursa removes all ill effects currenctly affecting himself that had a duration other than instantaneous or permanent. After using this ability, the Ursa becomes darker and larger, gaining Powerful Build, +2 Str and reducing all damage she takes by 80% for 3 rounds.
So I've been playing some Dota 2 out of nostalgia and I suddenly thought "Hey, most heroes were based on critters, and now they have those straight level progressions, how hard could it be to convert them to monster classes?"
And this is the first result. 4 levels long because the heroes have 4 main abilities. Wanted to try at least one. Will probably do more if it turns out popular, if not, back to the request list.
So if you want to play an angry bear-person, the Ursa's for you!
