Looking for the Stronghold handbook.
« on: October 07, 2015, 02:22:16 AM »
It appears to be lost in the ether of the Wiz boards :-(

Edit: Making a Handbook on this board to dump everything I find.

Found this but I know that's not what you meant. Still searching.

It probably isn't, but that is incredibly handy to have all on one page. I'm snagging that, thanks Necrosnoop  :p

Indeed not what I meant. Very helpful though since my old Craptop has trouble loading PDF files efficiently.

If I remember correctly either Agita or Solo was involved and it ended up being a flying tank full of helmed horrors.

You probably mean this.

You also might find this useful. And/or my character from that game.

Captnq's Encyclopedia Vinculum Draconis also has stuff on strongholds.  It's under "Other Magical Equipment" -> "Wondrous Architecture".

You wouldn't happen to be talking about the Stronghold Builder's Guide book, right?

The closest thing to a handbook I remember seeing is the Flying Box one phaedrusxy linked.  And I've looked a few times over the years.  Gleemax probably ate it if a formal one did exist.  Necroscoop's cheat sheet is nice though.

CL 16+ Wall of Stone is the largest cost reduction a player can control.  Free walls.  (But don't get me started on the stupidity of WoS's pricing in the book.  They did the math right for once then just ignored it!  :shakefist )   The labor reduction of up to -30% is huge, but its all DM fiat.
