Besides magic missile, what spells can the Force Missile Mage apply its abilities to?

All of his abilities mentioned in the guide are specific to magic missile, they don't affect any other spells. The class does get the ability to cast shield as an immediate action and lets his shield reflect magic missile spells back at their caster instead of negating them. But the class almost strictly gives benefits to it's singularly obsessed first level spell. No other spells are affected in any way. So yeah this class is terrible.

Energy Missile is actually awesome.

You know all those feats that boost Cold spells? They work great with a [Cold] Magic Missile.

You need to take Snowcasting, Frozen Magic, and Cold Spell Specialization; if you cast a [Cold] Magic Missile, you deal +1 damage per die! You also get a 1 or +2 bonus to your CL, based on the outside temperature, and you can toss the Cold descriptor on a Magic Missile in addition to any other descriptor you want to toss on there.

If you go with Fire Descriptor, Blistering Spell adds +2 Fire damage per level (so Heighten is in order), and Fiery Spell (+1 damage per die for [Fire] spells.)

So, yeah:

Snowcasting
Frozen Magic
Cold Spell Specialization
Fiery Spell

You use Snowcasting to add the [Cold] Descriptor to your Magic Missile, Energy Missile to add [Fire] on there.

As a best case scenario, we're talking a +2 bonus to CL and each missile will deal 1d4+3 damage.

Engulf your foes with MAW OF CHAOS! Unleash a MACROSS MISSILE MASSACRE with your GREATER ARCANE FUSION ARCANE FUSION SPELLSURGE OF MAGICAL MISSILY DEATH.

You can even go RECURSIVE on that BITCH with ARCANE FUSIONS in ARCANE FUSIONS. DON'T BELIEVE ME?

Wu Jen also needs a good look for every Johny One-Spell. Unfortunately the spell isn't one there list but ultimate magus|sorceror can solve that.

I think a touch of incarnum could add something to the force missile mage. Taking the Shape Soulmeld (Arcane Focus) feat, casting the Soul Boon and Open Greater Chakra spells, and wearing an Incarnum Focus on your neck will add +6 damage and force a save vs. stun to all targets of magic missile (and any other damage dealing spell). All this does come online rather late, but the Shape Soulmeld feat and Soul Boon could be handy early on.
