Bugbear Traits
Your bugbear character has certain traits deriving from your bugbear ancestry.
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. Thanks to your bugbear blood, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Goblin. Goblin is a harsh, grating language with hard consonants. It has no script of its own but is written in the Dwarvish script.
Brute
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2.
Brute. A melee weapon deals one extra die of its damage when the bugbear hits with it
Ambusher
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2.
Natural Armour. Your Natural Armour score increases by 3.
Surprise Attack. If the bugbear surprises a creature and hits it with an attack during the first round of combat, the target takes an extra 7 (2d6) damage from the attack
