These may be easy questions for somone whos played a shadowcraft mage before, but:
How do the save DC's for Quasi Real spells work?
For example:
if I use a 4th level figment to mimic the 3rd level spell "fireball"
does it use the save DC for the whole spelll as 4th level?
say the save dc for a 4th level spell of my level is 21,
The creature would get two saves:
first a will save, at dc 21:
Failing that, he would then get a reflex save for half damage, at what DC? 21? or would it be fo a 3rd level spell, 20?
Even if he succeeded on the will save he takes 40% damage, does he get a reflex save for half of that? at DC 21?
Additionally, lets say your Illusions DC is boosted to that 21 by 2 from feats affecting only illusion spells, etc, does the quasi- real fireball's reflex save use the illusions' boosted save DC or would it drop 2 DC to be equal to a normal fireball you would cast?
Also, Let's say your caster level for illusions is boosted by 1 and your 9th level(early entry ftw), does the quasi-real fireball do 10d6 damage on a failed will save or 9?
