Striking Everyone as you Charge
« on: January 25, 2012, 04:38:32 PM »
I'm sure I read either a feat or a class feature that let you charge through a line of people, and as you did it, you could make a single attack on each person you passed. Can't for the life of me remember where or what it was. It's either Pathfinder or 3.5. Anyone know?

There's a Desert Wind maneuver that does this, or the Great Flyby Attack feat.

There's also the Dance of Death ability granted by the vestige Paimon (ToM).

No, those aren't it. It's land base charge attack. I can't remember if it required Mobility or not for you to use it.

I have no idea what you're talking about, but in addition to what others have said, the Elusive Target tactical feat has the Cause Overreach tactic to get a free trip attempt on anyone that AoOs you for moving by them and misses you.  It requires Mobility.  But it has nothing to do with charging, though you could use it w/ a charge.

I've pretty much all of them, including the new Pathfinder built one. Not that I kept the link because I think that's the one I need to see for the feat. It's going to bug me until I see it again. I was going to get a PC to take it next level because she's doing a charge build, but of course I can't find it anymore.

I think I just found it. It's third party Pathfinder.

Rampage (Combat)
You charge forward cutting through all in your path.
Prerequisite: Str 13, Power Attack, Base Attack Bonus +6
Benefit: If you drop an opponent as the result of a charge, you may continue moving (up to double your speed) in a straight line and may make another attack at your full Base Attack Bonus against the next opponent within reach during the charge. You can continue the charge in this way until you fail to drop an opponent whom you attack.
Special: An opponent is considered to drop when it is taken below 0 hp and it falls unconscious as a result. You cannot use the benefit of Rampage and any feat granting a full attack while charging in the same round.

It's kind of like the 19th-level ability of the streetfighter alternative class feature for barbarian.

So...you can use it with any FEAT that grants pounce, they say...?  :plotting

Fortunately, I don't know of a single method of getting pounce that is a feat (though some, like Extra Rage Power or Martial Study, can give you the class feature via feat).  Poorly written Paizo 3rd party rules FTW.  :banghead

EDIT: Dang it, can't blame that one on Paizo, can I?

You didn't understand me. I manage this in legal 3.5

No, I think I understood you fine. As I said prior, I have seen or bookmarked every charging build for 3.5 and Pathfinder.
