graft weapon + regeneration
« on: February 14, 2012, 04:32:36 PM »
It looks like, with regeneration, you can have you graft weapon's weapon chopped off. After the power ends, you get your hand back you then regrow the weapon back since it was severed.

Ta da.... More weapons

Haven't fact-checked the rules, but looks like yet another way to break WBL.  Sweet.
I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.

I wonder if you kill a monster and take its natural attack, sure as horns for gore or hand for a claw attack, can you graft them and cut them off and regrow them?

No idea. The rules on Grafts are pretty wonky. Like if I were to cast Raise Dead on what's left of your corpse, would I suddenly have a Pit Fiend to deal with?

I'd say we need more rules forcing this interaction to occur. Otherwise its a case of "it doesn't say I can't"

I guess that's true

Replace half the char's body with a pit fiend, and later the other half a balor ;)

Is that a lawful evil and a chaotic evil half? Isn't that like Two-Face and The Joker being melded together?
