Hello there,
Our GM is going to start a serie of three one shot. We will start at level height and i don't think it will increase a lot. We are playing with the Pathfinder rules in the world of HârnMaster. So, from what he told us, it will be low fantasy.
I'm planning to play a Ranger switch hitter.
Here is my stat roll, which can't be change since we made each roll for a defined stat.
16Str/17Dex/17Con/14Int/15Sag/10Cha
As you can see, i can't complain about them... (even if a little 18Str would have been welcome)
My build would be the following :
1 :
Power Attack2 : Archery combat style feat (
Rapid Shot)
3 : (
Quick Draw)
4 : Hunter's Bond (
Wolf)
5 :
Boon Companion6 : Archery combat style feat (
Manyshot)
7 :
Deadly Aim9 :
Improved CriticalThe races allowed are Humans, Half-Elves-Elves and Dwarfs and i plan to go with either Human or Half-Elf and put the +2 in strengh.
Half-Elf :
Pro :
-Low-Light Vision.
-Ancestral Arms for
Curve Blade, Elven wich is better and i think more coherent than a falchion for the campain setting.
Human :
Pro :
-Bonus feat can be use for the Curve Blade, Elven
-+1 skill point per level
Con :
-Non Low-Light Vision
In conclusion, the half-elf seems better if going for the Curve Blade, Elven. But as our characters might never level a lot, i might not be to go for the critical route (
Improved Critical and
Critical Focus etc.) and then, a two-handed sword could be nicer.
Same goes for the
Boon Companion feat. If there will be no more than three one shots, it might be nice to have a wolf with a lage size. Otherwise, i would have to wait until level ten.
So, i'm open to any suggestion for the feats, race, pro/con.
Thanks a lot for your help.
