I'm helping a friend build a blaster for a gestalt campaign at ECL 11... our characters have known one another for quite a while, and the DM is allowing us to pool our 'resources' for character creation. Thus, my character has been helping this one's by 'crafting' his magic items and such for him, just as he's done for the party's warrior.
His character is an 11th-level sorcerer and a 5th-level illithid savant (gained through metamorphosis dorjes). There's some other class stuff in there, but I doubt it's relevant to these questions.
With judicious use of metamorphosis, the Chameleon's Bonus Feat and some crafting tricks, we've grafted 30 additional arms to the blaster (and named him Hecatoncheir as a result), and then given him an Amulet of Fuse Arms. He's taken Lost Tradition (Strength) for his sorcerer levels, and has Shape Soulmeld (Girallon Arms). As a result, his spellcasting ability score is usually 84. How many bonus spell slots is that?
While his amulet is "off," he has 34 arms. Via illithid savant, he has Spell Weaving. The spells he casts with it... do those come from his sorcerer spell slots? The ability itself isn't clear on this. Also, since he has 34 arms, is he still limited to casting only 6th level spells from his arms? Can the spells he casts with Spell Weaving have metamagic feats applied to them?
