Greetings from Mississippi
« on: March 13, 2012, 05:51:24 PM »
Hello everyone, I've just returned to gaming after a 20 odd year hiatus.
I have only played Pathfinder since my return, but in the past I have played Hero system, Warhammer, GURPS, Traveler and several other systems I can’t remember the names of.
I am continually being accused of Min/Maxing (read “utilizing the rules to their full extent”) and I discover a message board named that, so I had to join.  I am looking forward to reading these boards .
When I get a chance I like to read, watch TV and get in some Geocaching when I get a chance.

Welcome to the boards!

Since you're a newcomer to 3.X, I'd recommend you check out the d20 SRD and the Pathfinder SRD.  Pathfinder made several changes to standard D&D, but you should check out both to see which one you prefer.

Here's a short overview of major changes.

Thanks, I think I've got pathfinder figured out and I use the SRD regularly, it's great to have all the rules and errata available on my phone when I need it.
