Yeah, that's what happened to the one I ran a while ago.  It just fell apart because everyone didn't have any ideas after the first couple contests.  I believe I suggested a longer duration between and during contests towards the beginning?
I'd say it's the theme too. As in, the last contest didn't have one.

Quick question: For PF races would Archetypes count instead of racial substitution levels?

Yep, although at this point it may be moot.

What I'll probably wind up doing is putting this on hiatus for a while. Let it cool off and eventually bring it back with a stronger, more focused topic.
