Caster killer

There is a list of PrC to hunt or kill caster? And there is a list of feat involving caster killing, hunting etc?
Thanks for the help!

Some ideas:

Arcane Hunter: Alternative class feature (ranger 1), gain favored enemy (arcanists), Complete Mage
Nemesis: Feat, sense and pinpoint favored enemies within 60 feet, Book of Exalted Deeds

Mage Slayer: Feat, spellcasters you threaten can't cast defensively, Complete Arcane
Pierce Magical Concealment: Feat, ignore miss chance from spells, Complete Arcane

Being immune to common spell effects should help.  The warforged juggernaut prestige class (Eberron Campaign Setting) gives you immunity to just about everything you can get immunity to.

We're missing a lot of details, but specifically the most important part: Does your DM read forums similar to this one, has he ever read a Handbook for one of the spellcasting classes, and does he go all out during encounters (including pre-encounter buffing)?

If yes to any of those, the odds are stacked so heavily against you that your best bet is to actually play another spellcaster. If no, Warforged Crusader witha  dip in Warblade can get you some good defenses against spellcasters.

Right right: (sorry about my bad english)
We´re playing a faerun campaign, not following any alredy made campaign. This is our team:
-Goliath were-bear explorer (My character, I think i will go to a few levels of that PrC from complete warrior focused in licanthropes, warshaper i thinks its called, then i will go to Soul eater) but its working as a tank.
-Tiefling warrior/gladiator.
-Human cleric.
-Star elf sorcerer (with that rare magic of shar, dark magic, or shade magic im not sure how its called in english).
-Drow rogue.

We all are at 11 level (the warrior at 10, the drow at 9, me at 7)
We dont play much optimized, so the DM is not "always" very hard with the monsters and challenges, but usually need some tactic anyway.

So the drow player asked me after the last session about a nice PrC that involves killing/hunting mages and casters.
And after a while thinking about it i only remenbered 1 feat and 1 PrC (the feat that a caster could not cast while you threat him and the PrC from the complete warrior which focused in his weapon).
That´s why I asked for help :D

Generally the best type of character for hunting spellcasters is another spellcaster.  You can get rid of active spell effects with dispelling, attack their weak Strength with things like Ray of Exhaustion, entangle them, summon critters to threaten and/or grapple them, scry to find them when they run.  Sky's the limit.

If you want to be a melee character that hunts mages, I'd suggest Slayer, flavored to "arcane casters" instead of "psionics" (For example:  for Favored enemy, perhaps your character really hates necromancer specialist wizards, or maybe sorcerers).  It's an easy substitution and entirely reasonable for the campaign you described.  I'd consider playing a psionic race, like elan, for the power point requirement.

The real treat from this prestige class is immunity to divinations, which combined with mundane stealth abilities Hide and Move Silently make it almost impossible for casters to see you coming.

Beyond that all you should need is the Mage Slayer feat chain from Complete Arcane (Mage Slayer, Pierce Magical Concealment, and Pierce Magical Protection) and a reach weapon.  Once a caster is within range they should be more or less finished.  Almost any base class will serve provided you can hit things.

Going off the Slayer idea, a version of my Neo-Trancer or Endarire's Hood would do well assuming it isn't a Tippy turtle-up type wizard.  Something like Erudite 6/Lion Totem Barb 1/Ranger 1/Slayer 9/Chosen of Saridor 3 would do well, with BAB and ML of 17 (20 ML with Practiced Manifester), and then the usual line of Hood feats.  Mix with the usual methods of gaining full attacks on a Battle Jump, and with the Mage Slayer line, you'll be making magical swiss cheese in no time.

Note : Erudite is only chosen for the free Psicrystal.  Psion would work as well.

Occult Opportunist (#340): Let's you make an AoO whenever an enemy you threaten redirects, dismisses or casts a quickened spell.
If you go the Mage Slayer Line, don't miss this feat or you will regret it.
