Undead Template (for Martial PC)

Are there any Undead Templates that work well for martial characters? (A barbarian in this particular case.)

The loss of con hurts melee types.  The best I can come up with is gheden (Dragon 313, p63), which is a half-undead template.  That gets you the following. 

• Abilities: +4 str, -2 dex, -2 int, -4 cha
• Immunities:  energy drain, nonlethal damage, stunning, death from massive damage, fear, confusion
• Register as undead to magic
• 50% fortification
• Improved evasion/mettle against negative energy
• Bonus feats: endurance, diehard, toughness
• Level adjustment: +1

If you can convince your DM, you could become a Necropolitan made by a Dread Necromancer with the Corpse Crafter feat in a Desecrated area for +4 Str & Dex and +6 hit points per hit die.  If the Dread Necro also happens to have Nimble Bones that's a nice bonus to Initiative.  There's probably other nice things to add on for free too, if you do some digging.

If you can get it allowed, fleshbound vampire could work for you.

Gravetouched Ghoul is pretty nice for only +2 LA.  Then just see if your DM will let you base your rage duration off of CHA instead of CON.  Or just homebrew a feat that lets you do so.
