Doesn't RotD have an adaptation section for Dragonborn of Tiamat? I thought I remembered seeing that in there somewhere.
I have no idea, if not official it certainly has merit. It has an Eberron entry somewhere in that book which is like a free passport to say screw you to Bahamut.
