Magic resistant lumberjacks?
« on: May 13, 2012, 07:14:18 PM »
Well, that is the gist of it. I want to make a short "help local forest spirits against intruders" subquest for the party druids.

The problem is, an average driad will defend herself quite fine on her own, thanks to multiple SLAs. So, I need the way to make the intruders immune to charm and sleep effects without giving them any templates that would curbstomp a L3 party.

Hah, got it.

Fey'ri are immune to charm person for being outsiders and to sleep for being 3/4 elves.

Formians.  If they aren't immune to charm, invent a new kind of formian leader, the 'mind guard' or whatever the fuck, who makes them so.

Cue eating forest reproducing hugely etc, divert a dam to flood their nest, etc etc.
