The combination of Fling Enemy/Ally and a full progressed Bloodstorm Blade. Read both texts and let your imagination do the rest.
Also very tempting. If only I could pull off this and the swashbuckler. Seduce you into giving me your knowledge, then wield you as a weapon.

Edit: with fling enemy and using bloodstorm blade to hit all enemies, would you fling the wielded enemy at himself? ???

I was about to suggest basing a build around summoning unlimited mini-energy Cthulthus at will (Grab Alienist and the Summon Elemental reserve feat), but I like the above ideas a bit better.

This is quickly becoming my all time favorite thread.  :D

More a concept build that took some insane effort to keep useful early. Mindflayer cannibal that took that PrC out of Savage Species to gain lots of power at higher levels. Really played up that they thought higher intelligence brains were tastier, and by default they have an 18 int.

I was really into making "bodyguard" builds for a while, that had some melee battlefield control, but also the ability to do things like step in front of attacks aimed at an ally, soak up damage that should have went to your allies, etc. A crusader/ardent multiclass is probably the best way to go for that (Guardian Mantle, White Raven Tactics, Thicket of Blades, Reach Weapon, Share Pain, etc). I can provide build suggestions, if you're interested.

There's always a commoner 1/cleric/crusader/bloodstorm blade (necromancy focused, with a Fell Draining [Greater] Consumptive Field). Take Infested With Chickens, make exploding zombie hen grenades for use with bloodstorm blade.

I can guarantee nobody will specialize in explosive bouts of The Other Wight Meat.

[edit] Also, ghost (or fiend of possession) with Illithid Grapple (x4). You possess other creatures and make them explode into tentacleness.

if we are going for something you never see, how about a candle crafter or ghostwalker?

Candle Crafter (Caster?) can be surprisingly effective. I actually saw someone play one in a game once.

ah, thanks. that's what i get for going from memory again, instead of looking it up.

i've never seen one. it would be interesting, plus it has amusing throwbacks to manga and anime and japanese culture in general.

Hey, thanks for the +Respect! I had a whole bunch of points there, but something (or someone) wiped them out.

I wonder what happened.

Read your "respect" a little more closely. "Kudos" became "respect", and giving it is to the post rather than to the user. Which I believe also caps your possible karmantic gains. Like post a funny quip and get +1 rep, create a great six post handbook and get +1 rep. So everyone be funny now!

Srsly it's just another lame karma system. They all suck and the people that should earn them don't care for them anyway.
