FlaminCrows is right.  The statements are geared a certain way as to have the majority of participants answering a certain way.

"In a civilised society, one must always have people above to be obeyed and people below to be commanded."

Many people would disagree because the terms "obey" and "command" have negative connotations when used in that context.  It sounds authoritarian and inegalitarian.

"Astrology accurately explains many things."

What does this have to do with political ideologies?!

The 3-D model of political ideologies is overall more accurate, in that it groups economic issues separate from social issues.

David Nolan, Libertarian creator of the Nolan Chart, developed this model.

Keep in mind that the test is biased in favor of Libertarianism, but one I consider containing less weaselly and more relevant questions than the aforementioned Political Compass test.

He's got a folk song making fun of the John Birch Society, and on the recommended list is an anti-war song from the Vietnam Era.  This might indicate either a left-wing bias (or a moderate who realizes that Birchers and war hawks are crazy extremists).

But he also has some right-wing "patriotic" songs like "This Country Needs More Rednecks."

I think he just likes good music and doesn't listen to the ideological underpinnings.  Like Reagan using "Born In the USA" at campaign meetings.

But some of the descriptions, like "traditional role of the dutiful wife" for Stand by Your Man makes me think he's one of those socially conservative Leave It To Beaver types.

That chart isn't very good.  They have Libertarians voluntarily doing collectivization, and nobody doing independent things.  There's a number of similar ones, they list one side as more economic freedom versus less economic freedom, and they other axis as more social freedom versus less social freedom.  I was trying to find one that had the party affiliation breakdown on the chart, but couldn't find a good one.
