Fuck, now I want to see an anime that basically just takes all the stupid stuff in this thread and bases an entire show on them.

I would kill to see a knife-fighting, hard-drinking, fast-lovin' magical girl who dodges explosions.

EDIT: Actually, I can see that working in a Magical Burst game...

I think Gintama borrows from virtually every anime genre at some point or another. Only seen a dozen or so episodes though.

i think we covered that the core classes are pretty animesque. lets see if i can throw something there.

some of the pathfinder iconics are very animesque as well, especially the elves.

Fieya, the iconic elven witch, uses stock Hexes and Spells derived from the Kuroneko, wears Grade A Zettain Ryouiki with a corset, and has white hair

Merisiel, the iconic elven rogue has an extremely scrawny build reminiscent of a japanese schoolgirl, has white hair, an endless supply of knives, and a formfitting studded leather outfit
i used Touhou Project Themed characters for several years before i even knew about the games.
