[3.P] What's the tallest medium race?

As in the title. What medium race is possibly the tallest? In PF the maximum for a medium creature is 8 ft., but I do not remember ever reading about a medium race that is so tall. I know that Goliaths and Half-Giants are on the top of the list, but would like to know more.

Male half-giants have an average height of 7'5", which is likely slightly taller than goliaths...

As the only two races noted as having Powerful Build, Goliaths and Half-Giants are certainly going to be the tallest creatures.  Longest is a different story of course.

There is that Warforged Artifact that gives them PB when they activate it it but I don't see many rules regarding how much the character grows with it.

Deformity: Tall sets a typical medium creature to over 7 feet tall.  Tack it on a Goliath or Half-Giant and they'll probably reach over 8 feet but still be "medium."

Edit: Spoke too soon.  The Feral Gargun entry in RoS says they are 7 to 8 feet tall.  The Random Starting Height and Weight table shows them at base 6' even then +2d12, which puts their high end at exactly 8'.

Yeah, half-giants start at 6'4 and get +2d12.

Enekos also have powerful build, but they start at 5'4.

I was just clarifying that it was not just pathfinder, its in 3.5 too.

PF is almost entirely copypasted from 3.5 SRD, so that's to be expected.

You have your answers.  Feral Gargun, Goliath, and Half-Giant all due to Powerful Build and good base height.  Narrowing it down to specific individuals, any member of those previous races becoming Dragonborn could go over 8 feet tall since DB increases height a bit.  The Deformity: Tall feat can make standard medium races taller than 7 feet, so it's probable that on a race with PB they'd be over 8 feet and maybe even 9.  That. Is. It.
