Domains in Various Books
« on: November 22, 2012, 04:20:30 PM »
Obviously, most domains are in either the PHB of the Spell Compendium, but I'm trying to look through all of them.
I know there are others in the BoVD, BoED, ECS, and some of the Races books, but is there anywhere else to look through?

(I'm looking through their granted powers, not their spells, if that make a difference. Catalogues of Enlightenment.)

Google-fu

That'll make it easier for me, though even that list is missing BoVD & BoED domains.

And it having Frostburn makes me remember that the other environmental books have some too.

I believe that the BoVD and BoED domains were reprinted in the Spell Compendium.

Some, but not all. Herald domain comes to mind from BoED. Bestial domain from BoVD. I haven't gotten that far in looking through all of them yet, so I haven't gotten that far, but I know of at least those, which makes me think there'll be more when I do get to those books.

I typically use this list of domains.  Be aware that the alteration, necromancy, and restoration domains might not be available to clerics.

You should also look at DragonDex, under “domains, clerical.”

Impressively more complete, the only one I've gotten to at this point that isn't on it is Incarnum.
Also, can anyone help point out when there's more than one version of a domain power (corruption is quite different in LoM)?

Some of the provided links probably cover this, but it wasn't mentioned.  FRCS and PGtF also have unique domains.

I know that Unapprochable East has at least one unique domain (pestilence domain).

Pestilence is in the Spell Compendium. That said, those links do include those books, including the UE exclusive Blightbringer domain.

That's the one I meant; Blightbringer, not pestilence.  Silly me.  What can I say?  I stayed up late hoping Apple would have good deals on their website early this morning...  I plead sleep-deprived food coma.
