Hi! I'm trying to search the tons of books of d&d to find good classes that can give access to fleshwarper, but i'm a little noob and i'm going crazy... XD Please help me

(my wish is starting form level 1 with a class that can do necromancy stuff, and my "mega-wish" is becoming a Alienist before becoming a Fleshwarper)

Does your DM allow homebrew?  Because you may like the xenoalchemist.

Well, I'll warn you that Fleshwarper is not a great thing for a noob, since the two classes that go into it most naturally (wizard and sorcerer) are quite complicated.  Your DM should probably allow it to be adapted for Artificer, but that's even worse.

How comfortable are you with complicated characters with lots of options?

well... I think i'm not really comfortable, but i'd like to play it anyway, maybe with a little of help from others... But now that you put it that way... maybe ai should plya another simpler class and reserve this for the future...

Anyway, is there a method to multiclass the fleshwarper with the alienist or the binder?

Well, you have to be able to summon a familiar, so you would need to be some kind of arcane caster (like a wizard or sorcerer).  Alienist is also for arcane casters, so that would flow nicely.

Binder isn't an arcane caster... however, there's a prestige class that melds arcane casters and binders called Anima Mage, which is generally regarded as one of the most powerful PrCs out there.

I think trying to make a Binder/Alienist/Fleshwarper is probably a little much for one character...

I also suggest going for Sorcerer rather than Wizard.  The reason is that Sorcerer has a ton of options at character creation, but a lot fewer during gameplay (much fewer than a Wizard), and we here on the boards can help you with the chargen options. ;)

Ok, after I've seen how cool is the xenoalchemist I got depressed and now i'm not interested anymore in the fleshwarper, but i'd still like the idea of a necromancer multiclassed with a alienist (I did another topic if you are interested ^^)

Very Very thank you anyway for your help!

You're seriously advocating Binder to a self-proclaimed noob? Sirpercival, you are one evil, evil man (or woman, as the case may be?)! That's probably the one base class that needs the most system mastery to play successfully!

To OP: if you're still interested in playing a necromancy-themed caster, look into the Dread Necromancer base class from Heroes of Horror. It basically has the simplest of all casting mechanics: you know a certain list of spells, which is fixed, and you can cast off this list spontaneously - a bit like a Sorcerer with a fixed list of known spells. Your spells are themed for necromancy and allow only so much flexibility, but they're not bad. And you become more like an undead yourself by leveling, finally achieving lichdom at 20th level (if you stick it out). You also get a familiar, chosen from some more powerful creatures than is standard (Imp, Ghostly Visage, some others but these are the standouts). As long as your DM is OK with you creating/commanding a small squad of undead, it's hard to screw up a Dread Necromancer. And the class not only has good flavor, it can also hold its own quite well at all levels.

Right, hadn't seen that, sorry. Was meant tongue-in-cheek anyway, since Binder is a great class. Just hard to make the most of IMO.
