The Gloaming race from FR's Underdark is an interesting native outsider that has wings and flight, and some bonuses to shadow spells, among other small bonuses. They have no racial HD, and a +2 LA.
There is one Gloaming NPC statted out in the Web Enhancement, but he is a 15th level caster, and they listed his CR as 11...
So, what kind of a CR adjustment would you put on these guys? None? +1?
Just for the sake of comparison, the Goliath has a +1 LA, and all Goliath NPC's statted in Races of the Wild have a CR 1 higher than their levels would indicate, showing the LA, at least in their case, equates to +1 CR.
Similarly, drow have an LA of +2, but a CR of +1.
What would you peg the Gloaming at?
