Alternative Ways to Get New Class Skills

This was originally compiled by Griff over at 339, then ported to BG by Surreal. I've found it useful, so wanted to make sure it got ported over before the old boards go away for good.

Human Paragon will get you any skill as a class skill.

Human Paragon will get you any skill as a class skill.
For human paragon levels only.  But still useful, especially with Able Learner.

Human Paragon gives you any 10 skills as class skills for your Human Paragon levels; it grants you 1 skill as an "always a class skill" thing.

Indeed you are right.  I didn't look at the class features, merely the skill section.  Sorry, never used paragon levels before.

Skilled City Dweller needs to be on here.

Urban Class Features -> Down towards the bottom is Skilled City Dweller.

Doesn't Cityscape have a rule that lets anyone trade Ride for Tumble? Or is that just for certain classes?

The old one had quite a few comments that were never factored into the list.  Notably, it's been pointed out that the source listed for nightbringer initiate is wrong. 

I'll also put forward half gnome (Races of Ansalon, p102).  At 1st level, they pick a skill; it's always a class skill and they gain a +2 bonus with it.

Maybe.  It was on the Min Max board over at BG, so I just ported it directly over into the same section.

Quickstart Skills Guide:
a) ... Trapfinding something at level 1
b) ... Guidance Of The Avatar level 2 spell
c) ... retire (or "retire") the skills dude at 6th level

Worth mentioning the Expert or Factotum classes? I believe they let you pick your class skills. A human with able learner and a dip in these could get any selection of skills as class skills... heavy investment though.

The Expert can pick 10 class skills.  A Factotum has every skill as a class skill.  Exemplars also have every skill as a class skill.

The academy graduate feat (Savage Tide Player's Guide, p10) lets you have any 3 cha or int-based skills as class skills for all your classes.
